Muscle Cars and racing stripes go together like high horsepower tire smoke. If you have one, chances are you’ll have the other! This week, we take a look at some of the coolest stripe designs to ever streak across American sheetmetal, from the earliest Shelby GT350s to the wild Mopar designs and beyond. The cars in this episode are all from The Brothers Collection. http://www.v8tvshow.co...
Some say these cars are never finished, and that holds true especially when a modified car changes hands. In this case, our customer purchased this killer 1969 Chevrolet Camaro as a freshly completed Pro-Touring machine complete with a slick silver paint job and a very cool red leather interior, but the 700+ HP 540-cube Shafiroff big block Chevy and 6-speed T-56 Magnum transmission are a bit much ...
Is this the most sought-after Muscle Car ever made? Chrysler workers only put 11 of these Hemicuda convertibles together back in ‘71, and the breakdown of options and colors puts this as one of 2 US delivered cars that were built with the 426 Hemi V8 and 4-speed manual transmission. The team at Ringbrothers continues to push custom car building into new directions and up the quality in the process. In this video, Kelle Oeste chats with Mike Ring about the amazing "Madam V" 1949 Cadillac Sedanette, a classic style that is really hiding a 2016 Caddy worth of technology and power. The body mods are countless, and custom carbon fiber parts are used throughout. The integratio...
The Brothers Collection is home to an armada of muscle Corvettes, and this one… well it's over the top. Sure, 1959 was far before the official muscle car era began and it is America's sportscar, but this fuel-injected crown sapphire roadster is sporting the hottest performance goodies underneath its mesmerizing exterior. http://www.v8tvshow.com - 314.783.8325 - http://www.v8speedshop.com FAC...

Ford did it so much better than GM throughout the 60's and early 70's. GM wanted a "flush fit" look, but in using channels and ribbon adhesive to secure the glass they created channels that just catch and hold water.Shame Ford didn't think that far ahead when they designed the cowl on first gen mustangs. A Pertronix Igniter electronic ignition module was installed under the rotor for a hidden upgrade to help reliability and smoother engine performance. The 396 was sitting on some home made mounts which didn’t position the engine properly, so we fabricated a quick set of frame stands to remedy the situation. They sit on rubber mounts and were painted black to match the frame.A new power-assisted master cylinder was installed, along with custom bent stainless brake lines.Read more...

We all dig Hot Wheels cars, and Sean Svendsen builds cusom versions that go to a whole new level of cool. He strips the cars, polishes the bodies, sprays them with Spectraflame transluceant paint for a vintage look, re-tires them with reproduction redlines, and the results are awesome. These are just some of the cars he's done, and you can see his other creations, including model kits and artwork, at his website www.svensworldofwheels.com. We'd love to build some full-size versions of these at the V8 Speed & Resto Shop. Which is your favorite?
There are good times and bad times when working in your garage on classic cars, and on this episode of V8 Radio, Mike Clarke and Kevin Oeste share some tips to help your garage time more successful, enjoyable, and less stressful. Life would certainly be less stressful in the garage in our lead photo, but unfortunately, that's just a cool pic we got from the Racedeck website. Throw in the trivia question, some project stories, and a few laughs and you've got another super-thrilling episode of V8 Radio!

On this episode of V8 Radio, Mike Clarke and Kevin Oeste go back in time as Mike made the mistake of asking Kevin how he got started in this business. It started back in 1996 when Kevin and his buddy Paul Wieshuber embarked on the Hot Rod Power Tour in a car worthy of a junkyard, and it all went downhill from there. Who'd have thought he would have landed a job with Hot Rod and eventually start V8TV and the V8 Speed & Resto Shop? They also chat about the 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL 427 R-Code featured on Muscle Car Of The Week, discuss a V8TV track day, ratchet up the trivia questions, chat about Jim Wangers and Pontiac history, a story of David Freiburger taking a tumble, and have a few laughs on this episode. Photos from the episode are below!
