This Everything about this 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird helps it to stand out in a crowd... the brilliant TorRed color, the high rear wing, the aerodynamic nose, and of course, the growling 426 Hemi V8 under the hood. However, this very car was chosen by some not-so-brilliant o...

http://www.musclecaroftheweek.com - The ‘65 and ‘66 Shelby Mustangs were very successful cars, but Shelby upped the stakes for ‘67 by introducing a big-block version of the GT cars with the GT500. However, this one takes it up another notch with a 427 "side-oiler" V8. From The Brothers Collection. FACEBOOK PAGE: https://www.facebook.com/musclecaroftheweek/

We had the carb off the 302 for a rebuild, but we'll get it buttoned up, tuned, and ready for action.
Next, we've got black, but it's not a truck. This is a 1980 Dodge Mirada that came to the V8 Speed & Resto Shop for a complete restoration. It's not a car that you see in restoration shops often, but our customer bought this one brand new back in 1980 and has been driving it ever since. When he finally wore it out, he brought it to us to be brought back to better-than-new condition.
Our team tore it down, performed numerous sheet metal repairs, rebuilt the engine and suspension, and applied the slick black Axalta paint. It's going to be one of the nicest Miradas ever!
We had the tremendous honor of interviewing a true racing legend and outstanding American Bobby Unser at the 2016 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals this past weekend. Thanks to Mr. Unser for the time, The Brothers Collection for the opportunity, and the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals for the outstanding event! We'll post the video here soon.

Tom Fritz is an amazing painter, and his work captures light, reflections, and the illusion of speed in his stunning Hot Rod paintings. Recently, he posted a very cool photo on Facebook, in which some fans of his re-created one of his paintings with their own cars and captured the action. The post is below, and the result is outstanding. You can see more Tom Fritz artwork on his website, FritzArt.com.
