Extra care was given around the drain plug area so that the finished repair was not visible. Once complete, the trunk floor was sprayed with weld through primer to prevent corrosion.

For a performance upgrade, we installed a Hotchkis Total Vehicle System suspension kit. The goal was to have a car that drove comfortably, but still had a far better handling and cornering ability than the original.

The Hotchkis components include any large diameter front sway bar, front lowering coil springs, rear lowering springs, adjustable tubular rear control arms, the rear sway bar, and a set of Bilstein shocks absorbers all the way around.
