Here you can see the placement of the Vintage Air reciever / dryer unit.

Meanwhile, under the car, the exhaust was completed after being re-routed around the new transmission. Then it was removed and sent out for Jet-Hot coating.

We stated earlier that the floor didn’t require “major modifications”, but it did require some massaging. Once the exhaust was out, we pulled the transmission to touch-up the floor where required.

We lifted the engine to complete the final welding on the engine mounts, now that we were happy with the fit. We also took some time to tidy up the wiring and make the plumbing for the fuel system.

We’re using an Entropy radiator designed for LS swaps into GM “A” bodies. This unit features dual fans and is rated to cool engines up to 750 HP.

The C&R heat exchanger just before the radiator was installed.

Tidying up the wiring and plumbing behind the grille. THe brackets have all been painted black at this point.

Here, the heat exchanger pump, the A/C, and the cooling lines are all coming together.

The re-coated exhaust is installed and looking good!

The Moser 12-bolt rear end required different brake brackets for the Wilwood rear discs, so Tyler swapped them on and reinstalled the brakes.

Back up top, a reproduction Chevelle radiator cover was modified to work with our stack of coolers.

The LSA is a thirsty animal, and it also requires a solid high-pressure fuel system. The good thing is that fuel systems are getting easier to upgrade for Muscle Cars. We used a new stock-looking EFI ready fuel tank from Tanks, Inc.

This tank Incorporated a high pressure fuel pump from Aeromotive capable of supplying fuel for engines up to 700 horsepower.

New fuel system was plumbed with TechAFX Black hose for an O.E. level of performance.
