Our painter Jeff mixed a blend of satin finish Emberglo for the interior parts that required it and re-sprayed them to look new.

We were very fortunate that the original seats actually cleaned up without the need for recovering. Sure, the oxblood center strip is not as fresh as new, but the seats have a nicely worn appearance, and will look great after reinstallation in the car.

Kevin, looks great! I realize that is a pic of the finished car in the header but I love seeing the details that get it to that point. I would assume that it will be a MCW(<a href=" www.musclecaroftheweek.com/ " title="Muscle Car of the Week" target="_blank" >Muscle Car of the Week</a>) at some point, at least I hope. I thought the seats looked good also until I could see the original color of the oxblood center where the seats come together. Hopefully someday the owner will have a chance to redo that part. Awesome stuff Kevin.

Thanks! There will be some video on this car for sure. The good thing about the seat center is that the color change is hidden when the seats are installed, meaning you don't really see the division between the worn and darker area and the lighter color that was preserved by being hidden under the seat back.

That's quite an honor coming from you, Frank, but God forbid any of your beautiful cars need restoring any time soon! Thanks!
