The quarter panel seams were ground smooth after some lead repair work was done.

Then, the team addressed a few cracks in the factory frame rails under the car. These were minor stress cracks and did not warrant replacing the entire frame rail.

Moving to the front half of the car, the mechanical team began a rebuild on the Camaros small block Chevy V8 engine. The plan was to upgrade the engine with a COMP Cams roller camshaft, ARP Hardware, and freshen up the block and bearings.

Once completed, the engine was cleaned and sprayed with Eastwood ceramic high temp engine paint in classic Chevy orange and the RHS cylinder heads were sprayed with an aluminum silver.

ARP stainless accessory bolts were used on the outside of the engine.

A set of Holley cast aluminium finned valve covers complete the look.

I have not watched the videos yet but I will and I am sure I will learn a thing or two. Kevin, are you going to dyno the engine before you put it back in?
