Tom Fritz is an amazing painter, and his work captures light, reflections, and the illusion of speed in his stunning Hot Rod paintings.    Recently, he posted a very cool photo on Facebook, in which some fans of his re-created one of his paintings with their own cars and captured the action.    The post is below, and the result is outstanding.    You can see more Tom Fritz artwork on his website,

Muscle Car Of The Week on DRIVE SRT home page

We love the fact that our Muscle Car Of The Week videos are shared amongst Muscle Car enthusiasts worldwide, but we recently were completely stoked to learn that our friends at - you know, the official Chrysler and Dodge website where you build & buy such awesome cars as the Hellcat and Viper SRT - thought high enough of Muscle Car Of The Week cars and videos to share them on their HOME PAGE!    For car guys, there are few honors higher than being showcased on an auto manufacturer's website, especially one as cool as the SRT site!   We have to thank The Brothers Collection for letting us shoot videos of their awesome cars, and a special shout-out to the crew and families of the Muscle Car Of The Week team for putting up with our nonsense as we make this show!

There are always a bunch of cool projects in process at the V8 Speed & Resto Shop!    Let's take a lap around the shop to see the latest!

This very cool 1978 Pontiac Trans Am arrived in the shop looking for better road manners.   It's running a Pontiac 400 with an automatic, and the customer likes to do big road trips, so we're installing a FAST EZ-EFI 2.0 fuel injection system, an overdrive 200 4-R transmission, and new 3.73:1 rear gears.   This will give him the benefits of better starting and throttle response, an overdrive gear for better cruising, and numerically higher gears for better accelration while improving the fuel economy.    It's a great looking ride.
