This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS came to the V8 Speed & Resto Shop for a vehicle inspection and to discuss some possible mechanical and paint restoration. It's wearing a repaint from long ago, and although it looks like a 4-speed handle sticking up, it is an automatic. It's a very cool car.
A star MIG welder is born!
Welding can be a very rewarding skill, and it's often a necessary skill when restoring or modifying classic and Muscle Cars. On this episode of V8 Radio, our esteemed Co-Host Mike Clarke recalls his experience learning how to MIG weld at the V8 Speed & Resto Shop as taught by Host Kevin Oeste on an HTP MIG 200 welder. Mike and our mutual friend Paul came to the V8 shop for a visit, and left as changed men with mad welding skills! Of course the trivia question is fun, and there's a new update on Mike's GTO engine as well, all on V8 Radio!
