We're getting ready to take our 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible on a road trip across the USA, and you can come with us! Well, sorta. We'll be posting videos from the road several times per day, and if the technology works right, we may be able to have a live map drop pins online. Here's a quick video, and you can post comments in the Forum Thread on the trip!
Bodyman Nathan Newberry is in the process of jazzing-up an old Ford steering wheel we had in the parts pile using some 3M 4240 Plastic Repair to fill the cracks, and then it will be sanded and painted in the next video.
This has been a good summer - we've actually had time to drive our 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible around quite a bit. Now, we're possibly taking a multi-state road trip with the car, and it's time do to some maintenance on a Friday night. Little things like Royal Purple fluid changes, installing a better Spal fan control switch, fixing the e-brake... you get the idea. Kelle and Kevin are working on it.
The 1966 GTO was finally ready to hit the road. We bled the Wilwood brakes, had all the fluids topped off, the ride hieght set, and it was time to take to the streets. Our goal was to build a car that handled flat in the corners, made lots of power, and was comfortable to drive, and the '66 GTO scored in all departments. Check it out!
