Pro-Touring 1969 GTO
Roger Poirier's 1969 Pontiac GTO is a car that has lived in Roger's family for a long time... several decades, in fact.     Today, this super-clean GTO is sporting a fresh restoration and Pro-Touring conversion with upgraded suspension parts, a hot Pontiac V8, and amazing black paint.    The interior is red, the wheels are chrome, it all adds up to a car that lacks nothing in execution or style.

1968 Buick Riviera Project Intro
We've been sitting on this 1968 Buick Riviera for a year now, so it's time to get into the project.   This video is the first in the series covering the transformation of a big, beat-up old sled into a cool luxo-cruiser.   Video number one here takes you through the reasoning why we're building such an oddball car... it's part nostalgia, and partly to see what can be done with an off-brand car.   Not everone can have a 1969 Camaro... we're going to show that the oddballs can be cool, and built on a budget.

Desert Valley Auto Parts
Junkyards… or should we say, “Old Parts Goldmines”, are an essential resource when putting an old car back together, and there are some really great yards in the dry climates where the cars never rusted.

1969 Chevelle "SS496" Blog 59 - Electric Fans
We've finally gotten back into the groove after the hectic SEMA show, so now we're finishig detials left undone before SEMA.    Tonight, we installed the SPAL dual 12" electric fans (PN 30102130) and their 185 Fan Relay Harness.  The fans pull huge amounts of air, and the innovative shroud has little flappers to allow natrually occuring high-pressure air to flow thorough the radiator core at highway speeds.  At low speeds, they close and let the fans do their job.    The 185 Fan Harness incorporates a thermal switch to sense the coolant temp and turn the fans on at 185 degrees farenheit, and off again at 165.  The power runs through a pair of relays to keep the fans happy.   We break away in this video to chat with a SPAL rep at SEMA to learn about what sets SPAL apart from the competition.
