Yeah, that's an obvious difference in color.    Personally, I'd be thinking a color change for the whole thing right about now... you know, "Might As Well Syndrome!"

(Just happen to know of a good paint shop that could help if you're interested...  Wink)

Keep up the good work!

I actually like the color. Some CF body panels and a re-spray for sure at some point, but cosmetics are the last priority right now. And I'll actually paint my carbon fiber, I'm not fan of unpainted CF. I'll probably do the front fenders, hood and trunk lid.

Some recent deliveries. Still waiting on a few items to finish the engine, at least to where it can be installed. And I need to get the hydraulics, brake & steering lines sorted out.

Hey Kevin, if you see this I'm curious what psi rated hose would be good for the high pressure side of the Hydroboost plumbing. I've been looking on the Summit and Pegesus Racing websites and see stuff rated at 350 psi, 1000 psi. Just not sure what I need. Something with a black nylon braid would look nice. If you've a sponsor that carries something point me there. Big update on the built is coming BTW.

Hey Mark,

Looks like some fun stuff arrived!

As for the hydroboost, we use teflon-lined stainless hoses, usually supplied by Hydratech.   They have hose kits and all the ends and fittings to make your install clean and bulletproof.

See 'em here:   http://www.hydratechbraking.com/hose_fittings.html

As for turning them black, we wrap the stainless hose with seamed TechFlex, it's the only way to turn stainless black safely.     The trick is to use some heat shrink on the ends to secure it to the fittings.

TechFlex Flexo:  http://www.techflex.com/prod_F6N.asp

Let me know if you need pics of an install, we have some we can post.

Looking forward to the next steps!

Progress has been slow, but the pace should pick up soon.

Lookin' good.   You know you're going to end up painting the whole car by the time this is all finished!

BTW, I get a ride in this beast, right?
