Hows it going all, my name is Brandon, I drive a 1994 Camaro Z28 A4 car, with a B4C Police Interceptor package in it. Baught it out of Lousiville, from the police station them selfs. It isnt the sharpest, or the fastest but it'll turn heads while its truckin on down the road. Like I said im from a small town from Kentucky, I do attend the SumerNights Cruise, everyshow rain or shine baby. Holly power cruise ect.. Heres my beast.

Heres a shot of her at the cruise.

The police package includes suspension, exhaust, tune and gears. I've switched out the exhaust for a set of flowmaster along with Pacesetter headers long tube, and swaped from AIR PLANE 347 gears, to a nice built 373 gear rearend. Still kept the police suspension, along with the tune. But since I baught the car, I swaped mostly everything out but the suspension and tune, and rebuilt the block. Turned it from a LT1 into a LT4, with a complete bottom end build, with a few top end goodies. Along with a nice built 4L60 with a 2500 stall.  Everything from fresh compression to bigger crankshaft. Mild cam, bigger rods. Everything from Royal Purple Oil, to 15$ a spark plug. The car is soon to have 1969 Z/28 badges, along with a billet grill, and clear bumper lights. 5% tint all around with a 15% on the front glass. Also soon to take the flowmaster off and add either SLP, or Borla, cant decide which sound better.

Like I said isnt the fastest, or the prettyest but it'll get me to point A to B and turning heads while doing it.

Well, scratch the "I left the suspension B4C." The rear springs are no longer in there. I have KYB drag springs. I forgot to say them cause I tend to forget about'em.

All the B4C package really does is help the car in speed and around turns. The car was used for high speed police chases, along with Interstate/highway violations.

When I saw the car I knew I had to own it, I mean how many people can hold up their title and have it say," Previous owner, "United States Government" I mean It being a police car is just rare in my book. If you guys ever go back to SummerNights Cruise. Be on the look out for me. Im usally the one roasting the tires off.

That sounds like a great combo.     However, I bet you're leaving some serious power on the table by still running the original tune.   You've changed heads, intake, exhaust, cam... do you know of a good dyno tuner in your area?    You'll pick up a load of power and torque with an upgraded tune.    And even though it's a Police tune, it still probably has the torque management (anti wheel spin) function enabled which pulls timing and power.    Just removing that on a stock motor will make a difference.      It's going to look evil with all the black and tint!

Yea theres a guy that works at this place in Lexington ky, called Bluecat. The best tuner there for a Fbody is a buddy of mine, been thinking about having it gone over once or twice. His T/A runs 12.80's in a 1/4, with just a exhaust and tune, and lid. Been thinking of slapping a 50-75 shot of spray just for top end and shit and giggles. I mean who wants to rev at you at a red light when you purge at them back. Just the look would be funny, I however am a N/A type of guy, so spray really isnt up my ally, but eh its a go fast goodie and a very good one at that. The car is a DD, for now since I wreaked my pickup, 88 Scottsdale C10 first year of the fuel injection, had a DJM drop kit suspension, Rally wheels painted to match the truck, two 10" comp kickers power'd by a 600watt amp, 35% tent all around grill, shaved tail gate/bed pan with a bed cover, with 89,XXX miles on it, was a sharp truck! Motor was in great shape, but got rear ended and sold it. So I dont want to make the Z too hard on gas.. Right now it gets in the single MPG range.. and low MPG range when I drive it easy..

I bet your fuel economy would really pick up with a good tune, also.   Unless that cam is super radical, you should be able to get much better mileage than single-digits.     That is, of course, you can keep your foot out of it!    Grin

A hot rod is made for hot rodding. Why keep a car that is begging to be driven in the gaurge? I threat it like I would myself. I run myself to death, and when I break down.. I build myself back up.. Unless I break down too bad, then the ER tunes me up =P

That's an interesting outlook.. I tend to stay out of the ER as much as possible, but sometimes s**t happens.
