Register in the V8TV Forum and Win Free Stuff!

This week's prize - a certificate for a FREE CASE of Royal Purple Synthetic Oil!

Simply register in the forum by Friday, October 5 2007 at 11:59 PM and you'll be automatically entered in the contest.     The random drawing will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007, and the winner will be contacted by email.    That's it!   If you don't win this week, your registration will be used as an AUTOMATIC entry into our next random drawing!   

Winners will be chosen by random drawing, 1 winner every 60 days.

I'm confused; If I'm a member here am I already registered to win the Royal Purple, or is there a specific forum I need to register in. Every forum I've read so far just says "The Forum" , but never makes it clear which one, or where Huh

Once you registered with our forum, you are allowed to post messages.   We then take a random drawing from all the people who registered and pick a winner.   You don't have to do anything else!    Easy, huh?

Hello Everyone,
I just joined this forum (obviously) and look forward to some posts.  Kevin, I sent you a message yesterday but I'm not sure if the extension I sent you was correct for my email.  It is .net, not .com . 

For everyone out there, I have a '67 Firebird convertible. Numbers matching 400/400.  I just had it repainted the original white with black intereior.  I did have them add a lot of Blue Flake to the clear coat so it adds a little something to the finish while still keeping it somewhat original.  The engine is all redone with a hotter cam, 670 heads and headers with 2 1/2 inch exhaust.  I'll try to post a picture of the car soon.

As for the name I chose for this board, I'll let Kevin explain that one....

Hey Doug... er "Red Sh^t" -

Too funny!    I got your emial yesterday, but we've been pretty swamped since SEMA getting videos up and trying to get back to normal. 

Here's the story on the Red Sh^t -

Doug and I go back to probably first grade, and we spent many weekend on Cub Scout campouts in grade school.     One of these fine occasions led to a little contest to see who could drink the most kool-aid (or Red Sh^t, as one of our esteemed Scoutmasters called it) - and soon, yours truly was bent over, hurling up buckets of the Red Sh^t all over the campground.

I'm impressed you still remember that after 25 years.    Wow.

Good to hear from you - it sounds like you've got a cool 'bird - I'll look forward to the pics.    We are in the middle of a project called "Splitter" - a '70 TA clone with a monster Butler motor in it.    Those Ponchos can make some power!

We did a '69 Camaro ragtop last year and know the F-body ragtops intimately after that experience.    Nothing like replacing EVERY panel except the windshield to make a project go smoothly!
