Here's the powdercoating process used by Extreme Powdercoating on an Art Morrison chassis for a 1950 Henry J wagon built by Lakeside Rods & Rides.  The final chassis was a combination of 90% gloss black and 10% gloss on the suspension parts.  It came out really slick! 1. DA sand and blocked out for prep work
2. Ran through our 2 stage washer (phosphate, rinse)
3. Sealer applied after the phosphate wash
4. Epoxy Primer Coat
5. Block sanded epoxy primer powder 1st coat
6. 90% Gloss Top Coat
7. Bake top coat

Those are big pieces to powdercoat.    I wonder how they cure them - is that a big oven, or do they spot-cure the parts with a smaller heater or something?

I'll post the question to Greg at Extreme Powdercoating and find out!
