We're working the body of our 1969 Chevelle "SS496" project from both ends. With the quarter panels welded solid, one team begins the body filler process on the rear of the car to finesse the panels into perfect shape. On the front of the car, new sheetmetal from The Paddock is hung to replace the dented-up originals.

Installing quarter panels and wheeltubs is a challenging adventure, especially if new parts aren't made for your application. In this installment, we modify 1969 Chevelle hardtop quarter panels and install them on our 1969 Chevelle convertible, as the ragtop parts are not made yet. It's an interesting process, but the results look great.
