 Installing a hydroboost brake booster from Hydratech completely transformed the stopping abilities of this 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. One area of muscle car performance that remains tricky is the braking system. Sometimes, even cars equipped with upgraded brakes don’t stop as well as you want them to. We found a potential solution to this problem and a couple others in the form of a Hydroboost brake booster.

 While preparing our 1962 Galaxie 500 XL ragtop for a recent road trip, we noticed just how bad the car rattled. It turns out that all the window "fuzzies" were dried out, allowing the window glass to rattle in its tracks. All the car's window and door weatherstrip was deteriorated, too.
