New Car Reviews
By participating in select motor sports clubs throughout the U.S.,
speedsters are able to push the limit by driving exotic sports cars at
200 miles-per-hour (mph). One of the most recent venues is the
Monticello Motor Club , located just north of New York City in the
Catskills. Here, car fanatics can see the 550 horsepower Cadillac
CTS-V, which goes from zero to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds.

Unchanged from last year, the 2009 Buick Enclave is a full-size
SUV featuring a powerful engine, generous seating, and enviable fuel
economy. Awarded with the highest in
crash test ratings, the Buick
Enclave is packed with upgraded safety features, from StabiliTrak to power
programmable door locks. StabiliTrak is
an advanced steering program that automatically senses the direction in which
the SUV is turning. This program will
instinctively correct any over-steering, prevent rollovers, and keep the
vehicle on the road during inclement weather conditions.

The 2008 Pontiac G8 GT was introduced at the Chicago auto show, and
while it shares a new platform with the Chevrolet Camaro, it's still
very obviously a Pontiac,
though admittedly it's one with a low enough beltline that from inside
the view is spectacular, even though it's fairly subtle. We liked the understated approach from Pontiac in their new high-performance sedan.

While SUV reviews are not the usual content at V8TV, we have been seeking candidates to pull our enclosed car hauler around in comfort. The King Ranch certainly qualifies. There's a phrase they use in the Lone
Star State
to describe large things: Texas-sized. If ever any SUV lived up to that
description, it would be the Ford Expedition King Ranch, because not only does
it weigh a bit over 6100 pounds and easy to get insurance quotes , it also has a
cabin big enough to really be your mobile home on the range, or on the road.

In the world of automotive design and marketing, Ford's J Mays, (global vice president of design) has a proven track record with finding inspiration of the past. He was, after all, instrumental in the creation of Volkswagen's New Beetle a few years back, and he was also a force (along with Ford's chief designer Doug Gaffka) in the last Mustang Bullitt, the limited-run car that appeared in 2001, and sold just under 6,000 units. It should be no surprise, then, that for the 40th anniversary of the popular Steve McQueen tour de force, Mays is once again looking backward in order to push Ford forward with the recently released 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt.

During the L.A. Auto Show, Dodge unveiled its 2008 Viper SRT10 ACR (American Club Racer) – a street-legal racecar. The new Viper features an aluminum V-10 engine that produces 600-horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. of torque. To cut back on the car's weight, Dodge said potential buyers can opt for the "Hard Core" package, which eliminates the audio system, the underhood silencer pad, trunk carpeting and the tire inflator. The 2008 Viper SRT10 ACR is expected to rollout in the second quarter of 2008.

The Chevy Trailblazer SS is MUCH more than a midsize SUV... it's got a Corvette heart beating under that hood, but it adds the ability to haul all your stuff around at the same time!

The Dodge Magnum SRT-8 looks like a wagon, hauls like a wagon, but drives like a high-performance sedan. The 420 horsepower 6.1 liter HEMI makes sure of that.
