The 1969 Chevelle "SS496" came to the V8TV shop a bass boat green SS clone with a full load of hidden issues. Besides the gauges mounted all over the dash, the cluttered under hood area, and the out-of-tune 454, the Chevelle was hiding inches-thick body filler, rusty floors, bashed quarter panels, and more. We completely restored this car and added cool upgrades like tubular suspension, big brakes, all new sheet metal and paint, a trick leather interior, and a 496 stroker big block Chevy engine with hidden nitrous oxide! Follow the build videos below from start to finish, including the reveal at the SEMA show in Las Vegas!
