Everyone loves musclecars, but some things just don't stack up against modern car drivability. We've compiled a simple list of some things you can do to make your musclecar ownership experience a better one.

Reproduction shop manuals are great for learning how to keep your musclecar on the road. We also recommend a personalized version... you can download a copy of our manual click here. which allows you to keep track of the specifics of your car! Just DOUBLE CLICK on each line to make changes!

Disc brakes not only stop with better repeatability and fade resistance, they also look killer inside cool wheels. If your car is still beating drums, we HIGHLY recommend a disc brake swap.

Another driving improvement is an overdrive transmission upgrade. Be it manual or automatic, adding an extra gear reduces your cruising RPM and makes for a comfortable highway cruiser. The increased MPG doesn't hurt, either.

Keeping your musclecar cool can be a tough job without the right gear. Flex-A-Lite not only makes electric fans, but they also sell this trick electronic fan controller. This little box will power up your fans at a pre-set temperature, then ramp the speed of the fans up until max cooling is reached. Then it turns them down as needed. All automatically!

Another new item from Flex-A-Lite is the channel-mounting radiator…these high-quality radiators have built-in channels to add cooling area and to make mounting easier. Check them out here!

Rattles are annoying in musclecars, and they're easy to fix. Check your window channels and regulators for warn-out weatherstrip... these can rattle and drive you crazy.
