Today, Nathan and the crew are hard at work on the post-painting steps to making our 1968 Camaro "Reloaded" gleam like a show car. The process starts with a through wet sanding of the BASF Glasurit clear coat, knocking down any surface imperfections and also "burying" the stripes in the clear. This means that the stripes will not be detectable if you run your hand over them. Nathan will also be using the 3M Denibbing tool to remove large paint "nibs". The next steps will be more wetsanding with the 3M Trizact system, and finally buffing with the 3M Perfect-It system. Share this link on your favorite social network!
