Rad Rides By Troy 1956 Chrysler 300

Troy Trepanier has wanted to build a 1956 Chrysler 300 for a long time, and now the time has come. Taking inspriation from the Sniper project of 1996, this Chysler will also have a Viper suspension, but that's where the similarities end. The engine will be a twin-turbo Nextel Cup Dodge motor, the frame is all pieced together from individual sections of .090" Crome Moly steel sheet (!) and the outside will retain an original '56 appearance. It's going to be subtle like a sledge to the head.

I\\\'d like to see what they do with the dash. The 55-56 has a nicely sculptured dash and I hope they keep it stock. I prefer the dash mounted automatic stick shift on the 55 better then the pushbuttons on the 56. I\\\'m looking forward to see how it turns out.
