As a kickoff to the 2008 Somernites Power Cruise, Holley had a parking lot shindig at their headquarters in Bowling Green, KY. Highlights included a live band, food, a Holley carburetor rebuilding contest, a game of Corn Hole (beanbag toss) and a whole bunch of cool cars. The event was held on a Friday night as a precursor to the Saturday morning leg of the Somernites Power Cruise which pulled out of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. This is a collection of some of the cars on hand for the Holley shindig.

I drove from Conyers GA (Atlanta) to the kick off party and then on to Somerset the next day. Trip total was 901 miles. It was more fun that I expected. Thanks for taking pictures of my car and posting. A local artist did the pin striping and I am sure he will be happy to see his work here. Thanks Mark

My family and I attended the Holley block party in Bowling Green. Matter of fact the Blue 65 Malibu in the photos is mine. Had a good time, wish the weather had been better for maybe a larger turnout. Come on back and we will do it again next year.
