Air Ride Technologies and Precision Coachworks have done it again. They have built another show stopping, road ripping, supercar. This time it is a 1970 Chevy Nova - the “SuperNova”.

This car was built for Good-Guys to be used for promotional purposes and in July 2009, it will be given away to a lucky GoodGuys show participant. The car started as a very clean all original 1970 “grandma” Nova. After getting the body in shape by flush mounting the glass, removing the drip rails, and making a few other minor alterations, the Dupont Hot Hues “Butternut Yellow” paint was laid down.

To spice things up, satin black accents add just the right amount of flash while still keeping the car’s overall statement very subtle. There is nothing subtle about what is lurking under the vintage racer style black hood labeled: “427LSX” . This 427 LS engine puts out 615 carbureted horsepower thanks to the experts at World Products.

Of course this car handles as good as it looks with a Air Ride Technologies suspension system mounted on a Chris Alston’s Chassisworks front end.

Look to see this car at Good-Guys events all across the country, and out on the road. We know they Air Ride crew will be enjoying it until they turn it over to its new owner next July.
