| 1971 Olds S71 Dash Face Part 2 |

We used the newly powder-coated face as a template to trim the original plasic gauge bezel to fit the new gauges. Note how closely the Wrinkle Black powder matches the factory molded plastic dash texture and color! We still needed room for 2 more 2 5/8 gauges for Boost and Volts, and we wanted to fit an updated stereo head unit in the dash, so we made a new faceplate for the radio and the volt meter to replace the original radio mount. It will be also be powdercoated Wrinkle Black to match. The boost gauge will be installed on the left side of the steering column in a factory open space. Discuss this project in the V8TV Forum!
